Job summary

Venture Global LNG seeks an Associate for our Construction Finance team in Arlington, VA. You will support budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting and analysis of multi-billion-dollar capital projects, communicating results to senior leaders to enable and enhance decision making.

You will be based in Arlington, VA, with responsibility for liquidity management and data-driven insights to drive business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Cost Engineering, Project Controls, Accounting or related field.
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative abilities with understanding of key financial concepts.
• Ability to self-direct work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal effectiveness to influence and challenge others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to simplify complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage budgets for designated areas and track actuals.
• Perform variance analysis and forecast updates.
• Prepare executive-level presentations on financial results.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting; support external reporting.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to align financial goals with projects.
