Job summary

Venture Global LNG seeks an Associate for our Construction Finance team in Arlington, VA. You will support budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting and analysis of multi-billion-dollar capital projects, communicating results to senior leaders to enable and enhance decision making.

You will be based in Arlington, VA, with responsibility for liquidity management and data-driven insights to drive business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Cost Engineering, Project Controls, Accounting or related field.
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative abilities with understanding of key financial concepts.
• Ability to self-direct work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal effectiveness to influence and challenge others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to simplify complex issues.

Summary

We are seeking an Associate for our Construction Finance team. This position will aid the Construction Finance team in budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting and analysis of our multi-billion-dollar capital projects. You will effectively communicate results to senior leaders to enable and enhance decision making. This person will be based in Arlington, VA.

Qualifications

Required experience

• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Cost Engineering, Project Controls, Accounting or related field
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative abilities, and understanding of key financial concepts
• Ability to self-direct work in an unstructured, fast paced environment, and comfortable with ambiguity
• Excellent interpersonal effectiveness with the ability to influence and challenge
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues and present key details and conclusions
• Proactive problem solving mindset to achieve business and financial objectives
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Demonstrated initiative and ownership of work with strong attention to detail
• High level of ethics, integrity and emotional intelligence with ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Financial Modeling
• Willing to report in office, daily
• Occasional travel to construction site(s) or Houston office will be required
