Job summary

PNK Group seeks a Surveyor/Field Engineer to support construction projects with field surveying, layout, verification, and as-built work across all stages of construction. This hands-on position requires practical surveying experience and a solid knowledge of surveying equipment, drawings, and site layout.

Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining control points, performing grade checks, and layout for utilities and foundations, while coordinating with project engineers and trades.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Surveying, Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of construction project surveying experience.
• Hands-on surveying equipment experience including GNSS/GPS.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction layout and field surveying for grading, utilities, foundations, roads, curbs, and other site elements.
• Establish, verify, and maintain control points and benchmarks.
• Perform cut/fill checks and verify elevations, slopes, dimensions against drawings.
• Conduct layout for underground utilities, drainage, manholes, pipelines, foundations, columns, and structures.
• Prepare as-built survey data and maintain field records.
• Coordinate with project engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Operate surveying equipment and ensure safety on site.
