Job summary

JE Dunn Construction, a leading national builder, is seeking a Safety Specialist (Core) for its Advanced Facilities Group in Missouri. You will coordinate field safety programs and lead safety efforts on industrial, data center, and manufacturing projects.

The role requires 0–2 years of construction safety experience, a safety/health degree (preferred), and proficiency in MS Office. You will conduct site inspections, safety audits, and worker training, ensuring compliance and a safe work

Qualifications

• 0–2 years construction or related experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in a safety and health-related field preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement field safety program for routine construction projects.
• Conduct site walk-through inspections to ensure policy compliance.
• Perform safety audits and document abatement actions.
• Lead new hire orientation and drug/alcohol policy compliance.
• Monitor prime/subcontractor safety programs.
• Attend pre-planning and progress meetings to discuss safety.
• Support field leadership in safety program execution.
• Investigate accidents and recommend process changes.
• Coordinate with injured workers and clinics for timely return-to-work.
• Track injuries and summarize progress reports.
