Job summary

Okland Construction is seeking a field-focused team member to support surveying, layout, and documentation on complex projects in the Tempe area. You will assist project managers, maintain drawings, and help ensure accuracy before concrete placement while using Procore and BIM tools.

The role involves coordinating field activities with office staff, preparing daily reports, and supporting change orders and pricing as part of a collaborative construction team.

Qualifications

• Preferred four-year degree in Construction Management and/or four years of experience in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Surveying & layout planning with GPS and levels.
• Ensure formwork and elevations are accurate before concrete placement.
• Plans & specs interpretation to assist crews and subs.
• Maintain daily reports, QC checklists, and executive updates.
• Support change orders pricing and project documentation.
• Assist the project manager and superintendent with subcontract and schedule administration.
• Maintain construction drawings and digital documentation.
• Coordinate field activities with office teams to avoid duplication.
• Collaborate using BIM models and Procore on project data.
