Job summary

Kiewit’s South Central District offers an Office Engineer Intern / Field Intern opportunity to gain hands-on construction management experience in a fast-paced environment in Texas. You will support field activities, scheduling, and cost tracking under supervision, with exposure to ongoing projects across our district.

This internship targets undergraduates or graduates in civil engineering or construction management, requiring willingness to relocate to Texas and a strong work ethic, safety

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Willingness to relocate or travel as needed.
• Ability to work full-time during the summer (May–August).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Assist field engineering and site supervision tasks under supervision.
• Support planning, scheduling, cost tracking and material procurement.
• Review plans and specifications to determine material quantities and requirements.
• Work with suppliers to facilitate delivery and expediting of materials.
