Job summary

H+M Industrial EPC is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee on-site construction activities across one or more project sites. You will serve as the main interface among HSE, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, and client site personnel, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

Responsibilities include directing construction operations, developing execution plans and schedules, coordinating resources, and maintaining plan ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of industrial construction experience with 3 years of direct construction supervision, EPC experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and capable of establishing respect and credibility through actions, communications, understanding and personal presence.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the functional direction, coordination, and performance of all on-site construction operations and support departments including HSE, Quality, Material Management, Procurement, Construction Engineering, Project Controls.
• Actively participate in development of a construction HSE culture that makes safety and environmental awareness a natural part of the job.
• Lead the Project Team in the development of the Construction Execution Plan, work breakdown structure, construction schedule, resource requirements, equipment rental schedules, and construction progress/forecasts.
• Maintain ownership of the Construction Execution Plan by continuously assessing the evolving project and updating the plan while communicating construction requirements within the Project Team.
• Monitor and control cost, schedule, progress, and productivity including analyzing deviations and taking action to correct negative trends.
