Job summary

Bancare, Inc. is seeking an Estimator to develop accurate budgets for commercial construction projects in our Illinois office. The role requires reviewing documents, performing quantity take-offs, and building complete project budgets for varied delivery methods.

You will collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and the operations team to produce timely proposals, evaluate pricing, and support preconstruction through final bid submissions.

Responsibilities

• Review construction documents (drawings, specs, proposals) and understand scope, schedule, and pricing requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs for architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings, and develop detailed estimates.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain bids, evaluate pricing, and assemble complete project budgets.
