Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or a related field is required with 5 years of experience, or 8 years with no degree.
• Experience estimating a variety of construction, renovation, and repair projects up to $3M.
• Proficient with MS Project and other scheduling/estimating software; knowledge of government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for a wide variety of construction projects using plans, takeoffs and SME input.
• Develop proposal schedules including critical path items and major milestones.
• Obtain timely quotes for materials, labor, and services to build cost proposals.
• Assist procurement with subcontracting; evaluate proposals and analyze scopes of work.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and track cost and schedule change orders.
• Support construction team in resolving cost/schedule issues.
• Produce reports and responses using multiple data sources.
