Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Estimator for site development work in Central Florida. The role focuses on earthwork, utilities and paving for commercial projects, with a competitive salary and strong benefits.

You will work with AGTEK Earthwork on quantity takeoffs, review civil drawings and bid documents, and help manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of civil estimating experience, AGTEK proficiency, Excel skills, and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating experience in site development or civil construction
• Hands-on AGTEK experience required
• Experience estimating earthwork, grading, utilities, paving or concrete scopes
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specs and geotechnical information
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial site development projects
• Use AGTEK Earthwork for quantity takeoffs, cut-and-fill calculations, and site analysis
• Review drawings, specs, bid documents and geotechnical reports
• Develop pricing for labor, equipment, materials and subcontracted work
• Build and maintain detailed bid spreadsheets
• Identify scope gaps, cost risks and potential project challenges
• Coordinate bid reviews with the Chief Estimator
• Support handoff from estimating to project management
• Manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
