Bonness Inc. is seeking an experienced estimator with strong site work, paving, concrete, and underground utilities bid experience in Southwest Florida.

The role emphasizes take-off accuracy, contract analysis, and collaboration with operations to prepare comprehensive bids. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in civil construction estimating, proficiency with B2W/AGTEK/AutoCAD/PlanSwift, and solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years' experience in construction within an individual-performance environment.
• Proficient knowledge of earthwork, underground utilities, concrete, and asphalt.
• Experience with estimating and design software (B2W, AGTEK, AutoCad, PlanSwift).

Responsibilities

• Understand and Analyze detailed bid specifications, schematics, and drawings
• Prepare accurate estimates/packages for projects
• Assist Operations with scheduling, job layout, and change order preparation
• Track progress of multiple bids and bid results
• Oversee and manage change orders during project progression
• Oversee and manage project closeouts at completionDeliver accurate and timely estimates/bid proposals to clients
• Maintain positive relations with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
• Communicate effectively with other departments and team members
• Some local travel to review bids and inspect current conditions at job sites
