Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Estimator in Winter Haven, FL to prepare accurate cost estimates for earthwork, roadway, drainage, and utility construction. You will review specs, takeoffs, and pricing with project managers and suppliers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction estimating, proficiency with Heavybid, Bluebeam, and AgTek, and a solid understanding of DOT standards; strong numerical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating or a related role.
• Proficiency with Heavybid, Bluebeam and AgTek for takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical docs and contracts.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, blueprints, and related documents.
• Manage multiple bids and ensure on-time, within-budget submissions.
• Use Heavybid, Bluebeam and AgTek to perform takeoffs and prepare estimates.
• Analyze pricing data to deliver accurate estimates for earthwork, roadway, drainage and utilities.
• Ensure estimates meet DOT standards and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project success.
• Present estimates to clients and stakeholders and coordinate with suppliers.
