What You’ll Do

Are you the kind of person who loves digging into the details, turning drawings and specs into real-world estimates that drive award-winning projects? As a Construction Estimator at Absher, you’ll play a key role in shaping our project pursuits from day one by soliciting subcontractor pricing or bids and preparing scopes of work for trade contractors, meet critical deadlines, and partner with the team to:

• Develop full-scope estimates based on final construction documents.
• Coordinate proposal and bid efforts, including subcontractor outreach and solicitation.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs across a variety of trades and enter data into our estimating software.
• Collaborate with the Lead and Chief Estimator to review unit pricing, strategies, and final proposals.

• A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field — OR 5+ years of relevant commercial or military construction experience.
• At least 2+ years of estimating experience OR 3+ years as a Project Engineer with an interest or exposure to preconstruction.
• Familiarity with estimating tools and the ability to understand project scopes quickly and thoroughly.
• A proactive, competitive mindset and a desire to help win exciting, high-impact projects.
• Commitment to teamwork, safety, and inclusion as a core part of how you work.

Compensation

Salary range: $80,000 to $105,000
