We are hiring a Construction Estimator to analyze project plans and specifications to determine the cost of materials, labor, equipment, and time required for a construction project. Gather information, conduct research, and utilize software to create accurate cost estimates and proposals for project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understanding Project Scope: Analyzing project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to fully grasp the scope of work.
2. Quantity Takeoff: Determining the quantities of materials needed for each phase of the project.
3. Cost Analysis: Researching and analyzing costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing detailed project budgets and forecasting potential costs.
5. Data Collection and Analysis: Gathering information from suppliers, subcontractors, and construction sites to inform estimates.
6. Negotiation and Procurement: Negotiating with subcontractors and vendors to obtain the best prices and terms.
7. Proposal Development: Preparing and submitting cost estimates and bids to clients and project managers.
8. Software Proficiency: Utilizing construction estimating software and other tools for data analysis and reporting.
9. Risk Assessment: Identifying and analyzing potential risks that could impact project costs.
10. Collaboration: Working with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

1. Technical Expertise: Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor practices.
