Job summary

Turner Construction Company is offering a cooperative internship in Albany, NY for January through August 2027. You will join active construction projects, supporting engineers and managers while learning project scope, schedules, and safety practices on-site.

The role emphasizes coordination, documentation, and collaboration with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams across Preconstruction and Field operations. This is a 40-hour/week seasonal placement based in Albany.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited degree program in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 1 year of completed college coursework or equivalent.
• Interest in construction management and learning on-site disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day supervised activities on an active construction project site.
• Support project team with meetings, documentation, and progress reports.
• Learn construction management, safety practices, and project lifecycle.
• Maintain professional relationships with team, clients, and subcontractors.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and orientation.
• Assist with preparation of estimates, submittals, RFIs and related docs.
