Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Albany, NY is seeking a motivated Co-op/Intern to support a live construction project during January through August 2027. The role offers on-site learning at active sites and in office settings, with exposure to Preconstruction/Estimating and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college or university degree program with at least 1 year of completed education.
• Majors include Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.
• Willing to work standard business hours and overtime as determined by assignment.
• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, document control, and progress reporting.
• Provide progress reports to supervisor and learn about construction management.
• Assist with collection and review of information for RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Assist with preparation of estimates for changes in work from subcontractors.
• Attend project site visits to observe field activities and document findings.
• Assist with communication to Architects, Engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
