Job summary

Leppo Rents is seeking an experienced equipment technician to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and engine problems on a variety of machines. You’ll read schematics, use diagnostic software, and perform PMs to keep the fleet moving, while documenting findings for colleagues.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, a Monday–Friday schedule, and opportunities for bonuses, ongoing training, and benefits as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• A few years of hands-on experience on heavy equipment, diesel, ag, or similar machines.
• Confidence working through hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting without step-by-step direction.
• Comfort with schematics, service manuals, and laptop diagnostics.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and engine problems on aerial lifts, telehandlers, compact equipment, and more
• Read schematics and use diagnostic software to find the root cause instead of throwing parts at it
• Handle PMs, rental turnarounds, and repairs efficiently so the fleet keeps moving
• Write clear work orders so the next person knows what was found and what was done
• Share what you know with newer techs when they get stuck
