Job summary

Volvo Construction Equipment in Corona, CA seeks a skilled shop technician to perform high-quality service and maintenance on a full line of equipment, attachments, and components. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair in a shop and occasionally in the field while upholding a Safety First, Customer Focused culture.

The role requires 5+ years on construction equipment, a high school diploma or GED, and a technical certificate. OSHA safety knowledge and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on construction related equipment.
• Technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs.
• Prior experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Background with hydraulics and diesel engines preferred.
• Full understanding of OSHA and applicable safety regulations.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations pertaining to job sites and locations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe and proper use of hand, pneumatic and electric tools.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on the full line of equipment.
• Work in the shop with occasional field repairs.
• Understand hydraulic, air, electrical and lubrication systems.
• Follow PPE guidelines and safety rules.
• Maintain professional relations with customers and team members.
• Willingness to overtime and perform other duties as assigned.
