Job summary

Volvo Construction Equipment in Corona, CA is seeking a qualified service–oriented professional to assist the Service Department leadership in coordinating personnel, processes, and quality controls. The role emphasizes safety, customer focus, and continuous improvement while supporting both shop and field operations.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot complex systems, manage schedules, oversee repairs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Five to Six year of experience in service or related field.
• High School diploma or GED – Some college experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the construction industry highly preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations including OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times, comply with safety policies and company values.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through communication and quality workmanship.
• Coordinate the work schedule of shop and field personnel with Service Manager.
• Oversee repairs in shop and at customer sites, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Assist with parts ordering, warranty claims, and customer follow-up.
• Ensure shop tools and equipment are properly used and maintained.
• Possess the ability to work overtime and travel locally as needed.
• Troubleshoot all systems in product lines accurately and timely.
• Comply with DOT regulations and follow safety standards.
