Overview

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is a growing company representing Mack Trucks, Volvo Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment, along with servicing dealerships for multiple other product lines that support the On Highway, Construction and Agriculture Industry. We are currently hiring a Construction Equipment Sales Representative to cover our Central, Eastern Montana and Northern Wyoming Territory and help us continue building strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced outside sales professional with a passion for customer service, relationship-building, and providing tailored equipment solutions based on each client’s needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to business growth through strategic territory management, lead generation, and exceptional sales execution.

Position Summary: We are seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Representative to cover our Central, Eastern Montana and Northern Wyoming Territory. You will be responsible for developing and expanding our customer base within your assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through regular communication and follow-up.
• Identify and engage potential clients including contractors, construction companies, and other businesses with equipment needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations that highlight the features and benefits of our equipment lineup.
• Proactively generate leads through cold calling, networking, and other sales tactics.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including negotiating contracts and pricing.
• Partner with the Branch Manager to develop targeted sales campaigns within your territory.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven success in outside or B2B sales; experience in the heavy equipment, construction, or related industries preferred.
• Solid understanding of heavy machinery applications and equipment solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
• Experience conducting presentations and product demos to a variety of audiences.
• Familiar with lead generation techniques and territory management best practices.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and a track record of closing deals.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Strong computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Territory Coverage & Travel Expectations

This territory includes Yellowstone County, Big Horn, Carbon, Carter, Custer, Daniels, Dawson, Fallon, Fergus, Garfield, McCone, Musselshell, Petroleum, Phillips, Powder River, Prairie, Richland, Roosevelt, Rosebud, Sheridan, Treasure, Valley, Wibaux in Montana, and Big Horn and Park in Wyoming. Candidates should reside within the territory; travel requirements will vary based on home residence.
