Job summary

Ellet Neon Sales and Service Inc. seeks a general/excavator/laborer to operate equipment and manage site operations. You will follow architectural plans, work physically, and occasionally assist in manufacturing areas. Previous construction experience and reliability are essential for success in this hands-on role.

The position runs Monday–Friday with potential overtime, strong teamwork, and safety emphasis. Benefits include 401(k) and health insurance after probation.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL helpful.
• Previous construction experience is desirable.
• Strong communication with sales staff on projects.
• The ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Dependable, punctual and willing to work overtime/out of town.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machinery (excavator, auger, backhoe, bobcat) and power tools per job specs.
• Maintain responsibility for all company equipment in/on company vehicles.
• Collaborate with all on-site staff to keep projects on schedule.
• Follow all safety standards.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Prepare and install rebar, welding when needed.
• Pour and finish concrete in forms per specs.
• Handle county inspections if required.
• Wear PPE (hard hat, steel-toed boots, gloves).
• Calculate concrete amounts to order if required.
