Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate various machinery (excavator, auger, backhoe, bobcat) and power tools per job specs.
• Maintain responsibility for all company equipment in/on company vehicles.
• Collaborate with all on-site staff to keep projects on schedule.
• Follow all safety standards.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Prepare and install rebar, welding when needed.
• Pour and finish concrete in forms per specs.
• Handle county inspections if required.
• Wear PPE (hard hat, steel-toed boots, gloves).
• Calculate concrete amounts to order if required.

Job Summary

We are seeking to hire a general/excavator/laborer to operate equipment and worksite operations through manual labor, following architectural plans and guidance to ensure the job is properly completed. The ideal candidate has previous construction experience, a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job. Will also be required to work in manufacturing area at times.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machinery, such as excavator, auger, backhoe, bobcat plus any power tools or other industrial equipment as per job specifications
• Responsible for all company equipment in/on company vehicles
• Work closely with all employees on the job site and help as needed to keep the project running on schedule
• Follow all necessary safety standards
• Strong attention to detail
• Prepare and install rebar or reinforcing wire, anchor bolts etc. and welding when necessary
• Pour and finish concrete in forms according to specifications
• Handle County Inspections at jobsite, if required
• Wear hard hat, steel-toed boots, gloves and any other PPE required
• Calculate amount of concrete to be ordered per job site, if required

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment and random drug testing (Zero tolerance, drug-free workplace)
• Must have valid driver's license, CDL helpful
• Previous experience working in a construction environment desired
• Strong communication skills with sales staff on projects
• The ability to work well within a team environment

• Must be dependable, punctual and willing to work overtime and possibly out of town

Monday – Friday normal business hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with possible starting time 7:00 am Bi-weekly payroll with direct deposit only.
