Join Our Team as a Construction Equipment Operator at Fisher Industries

Fisher Industries, a family of businesses involved in aggregate production and heavy civil construction, is seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Operator. Our vertically integrated model enables us to undertake projects of all sizes, delivering reliable products and sustainable solutions for global infrastructure.

Position Overview

The Heavy Equipment Operator will operate skid steer, loader, dozer, crusher, or excavator according to project specifications, and will be responsible for daily equipment servicing and maintenance. Some travel is required.

Compensation & Benefits

Enjoy a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid in two installments: half after 90 days and the remainder after 6 months).

Primary Responsibilities

1. Operate equipment efficiently to meet production goals.
2. Assist with setup and teardown of plants.
3. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment servicing.
4. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work sites.
5. Lift objects weighing up to 80 lbs regularly.
6. Use shovels to move materials as needed.
7. Follow all safety guidelines per MSHA and company policies.
8. Conduct pre-shift inspections of equipment.
9. Adhere to all safety standards and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to operate equipment efficiently and perform routine maintenance.
• Basic welding and cutting torch skills.
• Valid MVR in accordance with company policy.
• Willingness to obtain MSHA Part 46/48 certification (company pays for training).
• Ability to work under adverse weather conditions.
• Pass pre-employment drug testing.
• Ability to work well in a team and travel as required.
