Job summary

Volvo Construction Equipment is seeking an assembly-focused professional to join our production team. You will follow complex drawings and BOMs to assemble machines or subassemblies, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.

You will collaborate with team leaders and managers to plan efficient workflows and diagnose issues during assembly and testing. The role emphasizes hands-on assembly, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs, pull 100 lbs, push 35 lbs.
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch, kneel, bend and climb stairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble construction equipment and subassemblies per drawings and specs.
• Interpret drawings and plan efficient work sequences; fit, align and assemble components.
• Conduct running and performance tests; diagnose issues and document defects.
