Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking a Remanufacturing Technician to teardown, inspect, test, refurbish, assemble and prepare parts for shipment in a quality-driven environment. You will identify nonconforming materials and support continuous improvement initiatives to ensure reliable products for customers.

The role requires disassembly, cleaning, testing, and packaging of parts using hand and power tools, with a focus on safety and accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity to assemble, disassemble, and inspect components accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork, willingness to learn and share knowledge with others.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, troubleshoot equipment and process issues in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly and teardown of components using hand tools and equipment to recover parts for remanufacturing.
• Clean and prepare components for the next operation.
• Test components during teardown to verify performance against specifications.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools and document results; isolate nonconforming material.
• Assemble, package, and stage parts for shipment to meet customer and production needs.
