Job summary

Serco Inc. in Rockville, MD is seeking a Construction Engineering Support to provide engineering and fluid systems support for the Navy Submarine Program Office. The role requires ability to obtain a DoW Secret clearance and a technical bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience.

You will review technical documentation, prepare briefings, participate in IPT meetings, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate analyses and action recommendations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field with minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Time management skills and ability to multitask.
• Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and fluid systems engineering support to the program office.
• Recommend courses of action for technical and programmatic issues related to RDT&E.
• Perform technical planning, cost, schedule, risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses.
• Review and develop input for briefs to ensure information supports decision makers.
• Prepare Unclassified and Classified briefs for audiences up to Flag level.
• Attend Program IPT meetings.
• Set high personal standards for performance and conduct.
• Demonstrate ability to be a team player and enhance team contribution.
• Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Perform tasks under general supervision.
