Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Engineer to join Team Submarine In-service Program Office, supporting US Navy submarine programs with a focus on fluid systems engineering and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires DoW Secret clearance, a technical bachelor’s degree, strong communication and time-management skills, and the ability to travel up to 25% while supporting Navy acquisition and in-service programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or a related field.
• Ability to obtain a DoW Secret security clearance.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Time management skills.
• Proven interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office packages effectively.
• Flexibility in relation to job-specification and schedules.
• Travel up to 25%.
• Experience with Navy acquisition and/or in-service programs.
• Active‑Duty submarine service experience preferred.
• Recent experience in Team Submarine would be ideal.

• Provide engineering and fluid systems engineering support to the program office.
• Recommend course of action(s) for unexpected technical and programmatic issues related to RDT&E.
