Construction Engineer 2 – Job Details

• Salary: $47/hr – $53/hr
• Location: 100% onsite – Los Alamos, NM (TA-55, Install Phase)
• Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required
• Work schedule: 4/10s preferred; flexible with other shifts
• Clearance: Ability to obtain DOE Q Clearance

Mandatory Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 5+ years of construction field experience
• Must be willing to work 100% onsite (no hybrid or remote)

Impact

Construction Engineers at this level are vital to ensuring that LANL’s technical installations are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved project documentation. You will coordinate between design, engineering, and field teams to resolve issues in real-time and keep critical national infrastructure on track.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Required: Bachelor’s in Engineering and 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Desired: Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or advanced technical coursework
