Job summary

Cotulla Education is seeking a Construction Electrician Instructor to deliver classroom and hands-on lab instruction in electrical concepts and construction trade practices at our Norfolk, VA location.

The role emphasizes mentoring, safe teaching environments, and curriculum support, with a 5-day paid instructor training program provided. A strong background in electrical trades and commitment to student success are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical or construction trades.
• Experience as Construction Electrician, Commercial Electrician, Industrial Electrician, or Electrical Technician preferred.
• Previous vocational training or teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach electrical trades classes on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Create a welcoming and engaging learning environment for students.
• Deliver hands-on instruction in classroom and lab settings.
• Assist with curriculum development and course material preparation.
• Maintain classroom tools, lab equipment, and instructional materials.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
