Qualifications

• Two-year diploma in an electrician program or completion of a registered electrician apprenticeship program.
• Four full-time (or equivalent) years of verified related paid work experience as a licensed electrician in residential and commercial.
• State of Minnesota Class A Journeyman Electrician License.
• Recency requirement may be waived if two years of teaching experience in the credential field within last five years.

Responsibilities

• Teach lecture and lab courses in electrician.
• Continuous curriculum development and assessment of learner outcomes.
• Integration of assessment activities into teaching practices and college-wide assessment.
• Support student success through multiple instructional methods and office hours.
• Develop and implement on-campus, online and hybrid courses.
• Participate in department decisions on budget, scheduling, textbooks, etc.
• Serve on committees and engage in ongoing professional development.
• Support and advance department and college mission through projects.
