Job summary

Facade Today in Florida seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to lead the estimating process for large-scale commercial and industrial electrical projects up to $10 million.

The role requires 3–5 years in electrical estimating, strong plan reading, proficiency with Excel, Word, and ConEst, and the ability to manage multiple bids and coordinate with vendors and the construction team.

Excellent communication with internal teams and clients is essential; education-sector projects are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of electrical estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specs.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, and ConEst estimating software.
• Strong multitasking, deadline focus, and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication with internal teams and external clients.
• Experience with education sector large commercial/industrial projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating for large-scale commercial and industrial electrical projects up to $10M.
• Develop complete and accurate takeoffs from project plans and specifications.
• Prepare detailed and professional bid proposals.
• Clarify bid documents and prepare RFIs.
• Conduct post-bid follow-up, negotiate scope and pricing, and provide value engineering or scope modifications as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain multiple competitive material quotes.
• Collaborate with the construction team throughout project execution.
• Create, manage, and track change orders.
• Maintain well-organized and accurate bid documentation.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring accuracy and quality.
