Job summary

BSI Consulting Services is seeking a mid-level Associate Safety Consultant to support large-scale construction projects and lead EHS initiatives in a collaborative team. You will conduct site walks, audits, and data analysis while educating stakeholders on OSHA requirements and best practices.

The role emphasizes leadership, proactive problem solving, and continuous learning with opportunities for professional growth in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience (7 years if no degree).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and ability to interpret/apply regulations.
• Solutions-oriented mindset with ability to assess risks and implement actions with minimal supervision.
• Pursuit or attainment of advanced safety certifications (STSC, CHST, CSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in meetings, site walks, and ensure contract requirements are met.
• Conduct construction safety field audits and data collection across platforms.
• Analyze health and safety data for trends and present findings to stakeholders.
• Educate stakeholders on EHS requirements and best practices.
• Lead incident investigations to drive future improvements and safe practices.
• Develop training programs and slide decks for construction EHS topics.
