Job summary

BSI Consulting in Columbus, OH is seeking an Associate Safety Consultant to support large construction projects, lead EHS initiatives, and drive safe work practices on-site. You will conduct site walks, audits, and data analysis while educating teams on OSHA requirements and client expectations.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of construction safety experience, with strong knowledge of OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years construction safety experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
• Ability to lead, coach, and train teams on EHS topics.
• Experience performing safety audits and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to large-scale construction projects by initiating meetings and site walks.
• Perform safety field audits and collect data using system platforms.
• Analyze worker health and safety data for trends.
• Educate stakeholders on EHS requirements and best practices.
• Develop training programs and slide decks for EHS topics.
• Lead meetings as the EHS representative and implement improvements.
• Investigate incidents to drive safer work practices and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the EHS team to build programs.
