Job summary

SAVI EHS in Sterling, Virginia is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to support a large-scale construction project on-site. You will work with the Construction Manager and leadership to oversee site-wide safety compliance and foster a proactive safety culture across all trade partners.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of construction EHS experience, OSHA 500/510 certification, and strong leadership to run field safety activities, orientations, training, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction EHS experience.
• OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification required.
• CHST, STS-C, ASP, CSP or equivalent credentials preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital safety platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance across the project.
• Conduct and document daily EHS inspections and audits.
• Deliver site-specific orientations and safety training.
• Support crane activities and other high-risk operations.
• Identify field hazards and coordinate timely corrective actions with project teams.
• Partner with project leadership to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Ensure subcontractors and trade partners comply with OSHA requirements.
• Assist with development and implementation of EHS plans, procedures, and site safety initiatives.
