Job summary

Blythe Construction, Inc. is seeking a Division Controller to manage all financial aspects of the Construction Division in Charlotte, NC. The role involves leading a team, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring accurate month-end close and reporting.

The ideal candidate will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and internal audits, with heavy emphasis on cost control and data integrity across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• SAP experience is a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office Suites

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and communicate results to executives.
• Analyze financial reports and develop new financial strategies to achieve company goals.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the division’s finances.
• Supervise a team of 3 AP accountants.
• Manage the completion of the month/quarter/year-end close for the division.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for the division and present them to the executive team.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers on project budgeting and cost control.
• Travel to jobsites as needed.
• Prepare monthly journal entries.
• Support Corporate with internal and external financial audits.
• Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
• Assumes other special activities and responsibilities as required.
