Jobot is seeking a Division Controller for the Construction division in Charlotte, NC. This role reports to executives, oversees the accounting team, and drives financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and project finance across the division.

You will partner with operational leaders to improve performance, ensure compliance, and deliver timely financial reporting. A proactive leader with a strong accounting background is ideal for this high-impact, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in construction.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
• Experience with month-end/year-end close.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting department operations and design organizational structure.
• Manage daily accounting functions: AP/AR, payroll, GL, budgeting, cash forecasting.
• Conduct complex financial analyses and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
• Manage regulatory filings and external audits.
• Develop and document accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Lead job costing and AIA billing processes and annual budgeting.
