Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Controller for the Construction division in Raleigh, NC. You will oversee the accounting department, manage month-end close, and drive budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls to support large infrastructure and transportation projects.

Responsibilities include job costing, AIA billing, regulatory reporting, and collaboration with external auditors, while maintaining accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role, preferably construction.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (GAAP).
• Experience with creating financial statements and month-end/year-end close.
• Experience with general ledger functions and internal controls.
• Excellent SAP user and administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting department operations and organizational structure.
• Manage month-end close, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts and GL.
• Perform complex financial analysis and produce detailed reports.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and internal controls.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting and tax filings with guidance.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes and variance analysis.
• Oversee job costing and AIA billing processes.
• Work with external auditors to ensure timely audit.
