Job summary

United Companies, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled Dispatch Specialist to schedule and dispatch material orders, communicating with customers by phone and ensuring timely deliveries to job sites. Basic knowledge of the construction industry is required, with an emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have experience in order taking, dealership dispatch, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, willing to travel as needed and adhere to MSHA/OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of concrete and construction industry preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in order taking and concrete dispatch preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive telephone orders from customers.
• Dispatch truck fleet according to customer’s demands.
• Ensure timely and accurate material delivery to the assigned job site.
• Maintain communication with current and future customers.
• Maintain dispatch facilities and keep in good working order all necessary equipment.
• Provide requests for new or replacement equipment when necessary.
• Follow all safety procedures per MSHA & OSHA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
