Job summary

NEFCO Construction Supply LLC in New Albany is seeking a driver for local deliveries to construction sites and home offices. This non-CDL role requires 23+ years old and driving 24’/26’ commercial vehicles, with a strong focus on timely, courteous service.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule starting around 5 am, with home nightly and weekends off, plus benefits such as health insurance and a 401(k) plan. Prior delivery experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Experience driving 24’ and 26’ commercial vehicles.
• 2–5 years of commercial driving experience.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must possess a current, valid Medical Card.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Excellent knowledge of the local delivery area.
• Able to sit in a vehicle for long periods.
• Must be able to work in varied climate conditions.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicle and paperwork.
• Make deliveries to customer job sites and home offices.
• Load inventory and unload at delivery points while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain a neat, safe, organized work environment.
• Maintain accurate manifests.
• Provide timely, courteous customer service.
• Communicate with dispatcher and branch logistics.
