Job summary

NEFCO, a construction supply company in the United States, is hiring a non-CDL Driver to deliver to commercial sites and home offices. The role emphasizes reliable daily deliveries, safety, and excellent customer service starting around 5 am with a Mon-Fri schedule.

You must be 23+, have 2–5 years of experience driving 24’/26’ trucks, pass a drug screen and hold a valid Medical Card. CDL is preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is required, with lifting up to 75 pounds

Qualifications

• CDL preferred but not required.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Experience driving 24’ and 26’ commercial vehicles.
• 2-5 years driving experience with commercial vehicles.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must possess a current, valid Medical Card.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Excellent knowledge of the local delivery area.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicle, equipment, paperwork, and loaded product.
• Make deliveries to customer job sites/home offices with a company vehicle.
• Load inventory on truck and unload at customer site while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a neat, safe, and organized work environment.
• Ensure manifests are complete and accurate.
• Provide timely, accurate, and courteous customer service.
• Communicate with dispatcher and branch logistics from the field.
