Job summary

NEFCO is a construction supply company seeking a non-CDL Driver to support contractors with timely local deliveries. The ideal candidate is 23+, can drive 24’ and 26’ vehicles, and will provide excellent service to job sites and home offices.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, loading/unloading, inventory accuracy, and clear communication with dispatch. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and a 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• CDL Preferred, but not required.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Experience driving 24’ and 26’ commercial vehicles.
• 2-5 years driving experience driving commercial vehicles.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must possess a current, valid Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicle, equipment, paperwork, and loaded product.
• Make deliveries to customer job sites/home offices with a company vehicle.
• Load inventory on truck and unload at customer sites while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain a neat, safe, and organized work environment.
• Ensure manifests are complete and accurate.
• Provide timely, courteous customer service and communicate arrival to customers.
