The successful candidate will support attorneys through all phases of complex litigation.

Responsibilities include drafting and filing pleadings, motions, discovery, coordinating Florida state and federal e-filings, managing calendars and deadlines, organizing case files,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Florida state and federal court procedures and e-filing.
• Excellent document preparation, proofreading, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a busy litigation practice.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
• Strong communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys handling construction defect and complex litigation matters.
• Draft, revise, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, notices, and correspondence.
• Coordinate Florida state and federal court e-filings.
• Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
• Organize and maintain case files and litigation documents.
• Assist with discovery, document production, and case management.
• Prepare exhibits, trial binders, and materials for hearings, mediations, and trial.
• Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Enter attorney time and assist with billing functions as needed.
