Jobot in Florida is seeking an experienced Construction Defect Attorney to join our team. You will represent owners, developers, contractors, design professionals, and insurers in complex disputes across Florida, handling matters from inception through resolution.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of construction litigation experience, a strong knowledge of Florida construction defect statutes, and excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school required.
• Admission to the Florida Bar in good standing required.
• 2+ years of construction defect or construction litigation experience preferred.
• Strong Florida construction defect statutes knowledge and related case law.

Responsibilities

• Handle construction defect matters involving residential, multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
• Represent clients in state and federal court litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
• Draft and respond to notices, pleadings, motions, discovery, and expert reports.
• Analyze contracts, plans, specs and project documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors; advise on risk and dispute resolution.
