Jobot in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Construction Defect Attorney to join our team and represent owners, developers, contractors, design professionals, and insurers in complex disputes.

The ideal candidate will have strong Florida construction law knowledge, excellent litigation skills, and the ability to manage matters from inception through resolution in a demanding, on-site role. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Florida Bar license (in good standing)
• 2+ years construction defect or construction litigation experience
• Strong knowledge of Florida construction defect statutes and related case law

Responsibilities

• Handle construction defect matters involving residential, multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use projects
• Represent clients in state and federal court litigation, arbitration, and mediation
• Draft and respond to construction defect notices, pleadings, motions, discovery, and expert reports
• Analyze construction contracts, plans, specifications, and related project documentation
• Work with industry experts, including engineers, architects, and contractors
• Conduct and defend depositions; participate in hearings, mediations, and trials
• Advise clients on risk management, claim evaluation, and dispute resolution strategies
• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex, multi-party construction disputes
• Assist with client development and maintain strong client relationships
