Jobot is seeking a detail‑oriented Construction Litigation Paralegal in Miami to support attorneys on complex construction defect matters. The role requires 3+ years in construction litigation, strong Florida procedural knowledge, and experience handling large document-intensive cases.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in construction defect or construction litigation
• Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure and litigation support practices
• Experience managing complex document-intensive cases
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management systems
• Familiarity with e-discovery platforms is a plus
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience supporting construction defect or multi-party litigation matters
• Familiarity with construction documents (contracts, plans, specifications)
• Trial or arbitration support experience
• Experience working with experts such as engineers or architects

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive litigation support in construction defect and construction-related matters
• Draft and assist with pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
• Manage document production, review, and organization, including electronically stored information
• Assist with preparing case chronologies, factual summaries, and damages analyses
• Coordinate inspections, expert involvement, deposition scheduling, mediations, and hearings
• Maintain case files, deadlines, and calendars in compliance with court and firm requirements
• Cite-check and assemble motions, exhibits, and trial binders
• Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed
• Support attorneys during mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
• Assist with compliance related to Florida construction defect statutes, notices, and procedures
