The University of South Alabama Grounds department is seeking a Construction Crew Technician to maintain campus landscapes and support construction projects on Main Campus. The role involves hands-on landscape and construction tasks across various sites with a focus on safety and reliability.
You will operate light to medium equipment, assist with concrete, brick and wall installations, perform sod and earthwork, and help maintain grounds equipment on schedule.
High school diploma or equivalent, one year of related experience, which includes operating a light duty dump truck, and possession of a valid driver’s license and maintenance of a driving record sufficient to maintain insurance coverage under the University of South Alabama.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with concrete, grading, and tree work is preferred.
