Job summary

Rotolo Consultants, Inc. is seeking team members to join a fast-growing landscaping company. You will assist with landscape installations, hardscape construction, and on-site operations, working safely with various hand tools and equipment.

Responsibilities include site preparation, material handling, following supervisor directions, and maintaining a clean work area while meeting quality standards. A valid driver’s license and at least 6 months in landscaping or construction are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lb.
• Minimum 6 months experience in landscaping or construction.
• Knowledge of irrigation, landscape lighting, drainage, and related trades is a plus.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record a plus.
• Ability to read and write.

• Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently.

• Follow layout plans provided by supervisors or crew leaders.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment at all times.
• Report equipment repairs or safety concerns promptly.
• Comply with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Crew Member Duties Include

• Assisting with the installation of landscape elements such as plants, trees, sod, mulch, and irrigation systems.
• Performing hardscape construction tasks including grading, setting pavers, building retaining walls, and installing edging or decorative stone.
• Operating a variety of hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., trenchers, compactors, skid steers, saws).
• Preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging, grading, and measuring layout areas.
• Loading, unloading, and organizing materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
• Following layout plans and instructions provided by supervisors or crew leaders.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Assisting with equipment maintenance and reporting any repairs or safety concerns promptly.
• Complying with all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• The use of heavy equipment is a plus (i.e. bobcats, excavator, skid-steer loader etc.)

Compensation / Benefits

• $18.00 - $20.00 based on experience
