Job summary

A leading landscaping company in Natchez, Mississippi, is seeking Crew Members. Responsibilities include assisting in the installation of landscape elements, performing hardscape tasks, and operating tools safely. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and ideally possess a high school degree or GED. A minimum of 6 months' experience in landscaping or construction is required. • Must have 6 months of experience in landscaping or construction.
• Valid driver license and clean driving record is a plus.

• The use of heavy equipment is a plus (i.e. bobcats, excavator, skid-steer loader etc.)
• Must be able to travel for extended periods of time while assigned to various project locations (if assigned remotely housing is provided).

• Assisting with equipment maintenance and reporting any repairs or safety concerns promptly.
• Complying with all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Crew Member Duties Include

• Assisting with the installation of landscape elements such as plants, trees, sod, mulch, and irrigation systems.
• Performing hardscape construction tasks including grading, setting pavers, building retaining walls, and installing edging or decorative stone.
• Operating a variety of hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., trenchers, compactors, skid steers, saws).
• Preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging, grading, and measuring layout areas.
• Loading, unloading, and organizing materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
• Following layout plans and instructions provided by supervisors or crew leaders.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Compensation / Benefits

• Hourly payrates start at the prevailing wage set by the Dept of Labor (DOL) for the location assigned
