Job summary

Peabody Landscape Group in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Construction Crew Member to support residential design/build and commercial projects across Central Ohio. The role is full-time and outdoors, with pay between $19.22 and $25 per hour, depending on role, experience, and crew assignment.

As an entry point into field landscape-construction, you’ll assist with hardscape, planting, site prep, and equipment operation; tasks include material handling, drainage, walls, patios, and routine tool care.

Qualifications

• Able to work outside through Ohio heat, rain, cold, and snow.
• Lift and carry landscape materials; stand all day.
• Reliable: on time, prepared, every day.

Responsibilities

• Work with a crew on landscape-construction projects across Central Ohio properties.
• Assist hardscape and structure work: material handling, site prep, drainage, walls, patios.
• Planting from plans: sod, seed, trees, shrubs, perennials, staking, mulch.
• Operate powered equipment as trained, including saws and sod cutters.
• Care for trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment; weekly inventory.
• Winter work available on snow operations for year-round hours.
