Job summary

GreenScapes Landscape Company in Central Ohio is seeking a landscape team member to support design-build projects with hands-on installation of hardscapes and softscapes. You will work under a foreman to deliver quality workmanship on residential and commercial sites.

Ideal candidates have basic landscape experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. This on-site role requires punctuality, safety adherence, and reliable teamwork in a growing employee-owned company.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hardscape and softscape installation to meet standards.
• Perform planting, staking, mulching, paving, and plant care tasks.
• Report problems to supervisor promptly.
• Follow safety policies and operate only trained equipment.
• Be punctual and communicate lateness or absences.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITES

To assist with the installation of hardscapes and softscapes that exceed the quality standards established by GreenScapes, and to expertly complete the job as directed by the Foreman.

• Perform proper planting, staking, mulching, paver patio installation and plant care/handling techniques.
• Report any problems or potential problems to your supervisor immediately.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures regarding the safe operation of equipment and tools.
• Do not operate any equipment that you are not authorized or properly trained to operate.
• Arrive to work on time and every day. Let managers know if you are going to be late or absent.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous landscape experience is preferred.
• Ability to learn new skills, and to take direction.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
